Recently Big Issue went out to search for and celebrate those working in to tackle homelessness and recognise the positive impact they have all had in changing the world for the better. Homeless Rugby, our teams, our volunteers and participants were one of the top 100 to be recognised.
Big Issue selected 100 Changemakers who we believe will change things in 2020. There are campaigners and campaigns run by groups; there are people working in tech and in business, in music and the arts, in literacy, sport and in charities and social policy. Our list features many people who you wouldn’t normally hear about, plus a number who you do.
In 2020 Homeless Rugby has continued to look for ways to strengthen our existing teams and create new teams that will include new positive opportunities for our participants.
